Data controller

What data we process

This website has no sign-up forms, newsletters or reserved areas. The personal data we process comes from these situations:

• When you contact us. If you write via email, WhatsApp or phone, we process your contact details and whatever information you choose to share in your message.
• When you book a call. Booking runs through the Google Calendar widget, embedded on the Contact page and in the booking section at the bottom of most pages: the name, email and notes you enter are used to schedule and manage the appointment.
• When you apply for a job. If you send an application to hr@novazon.it we process your CV and the data it contains to evaluate your profile.
• Technical browsing data. As with any website, the hosting infrastructure records technical data in server logs, such as IP address, browser type and request date and time, for security and proper operation.
• Browsing statistics. If you consent to analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used: pages viewed, traffic source, device type. Collection starts only after your consent and the data is handled so as not to identify you directly.

Purposes and legal bases

We use your data only for these purposes:

• Answering your requests and scheduling calls: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Evaluating job applications: art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and applicable employment law.
• Keeping the website secure and working: legitimate interest of the controller (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Measuring and improving the site with aggregate statistics: your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not use your data for advertising, advertising profiling or automated decision-making, and we never sell it or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

• Contact requests: for as long as needed to handle them and in any case no longer than 12 months after the last interaction, unless a contract follows.
• Job applications: up to 12 months from receipt, then deleted.
• Server logs: for the minimum technical periods set by the hosting provider.
• Google Analytics statistics: event-level data is kept according to the retention period set in GA4, at most 14 months; after that Google keeps only aggregate reports.

Who may receive your data

To run the website and manage communications we rely on providers that process data on our behalf or as independent controllers:

• Vercel Inc.: website hosting.
• Google Ireland Ltd.: Google Workspace for email, Google Calendar for call bookings and Google Analytics for browsing statistics (active only with your consent).

Access to your data is limited to the team members who handle your request.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers (Vercel, Google) also operate in the United States. Any transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Your rights

At any time you can exercise the rights set out in articles 15-22 of the GDPR:

• access your data and get a copy;
• have it corrected or deleted;
• restrict or object to the processing;
• receive your data in a portable format.

To exercise them, write to info@novazon.it: we reply within 30 days. If you believe the processing breaches the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

This notice may change if the website or the services we use change. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the update date at the top.
