The consent banner

When you arrive on the site you see a banner asking whether to accept analytics cookies. Technical cookies, needed to make the site work, stay always on: for these, EU law (the ePrivacy directive) and the Italian Data Protection Authority guidelines do not require prior consent.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are installed only if you choose Accept. If you choose Reject, or until you decide, no analytics cookie is created and no browsing data is sent to Google. You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

Technical cookies and storage (always on)

These are needed for the site to work and require no consent. They contain nothing that identifies you and are never used to track you.

• nvz-intro-seen (sessionStorage): remembers whether you have already seen the opening animation, so it does not replay on every page. It deletes itself when you close the browser.
• nvz-consent (localStorage): stores your choice on the cookie banner, so we do not ask again on every visit. It stays until you clear it or change your choice.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)

Only after your consent do we enable Google Analytics 4, Google's statistics tool, to understand in aggregate how the site is used and improve it. We do not use it for advertising: Google's advertising signals are turned off.

In that case Google sets two of its own analytics cookies on the novazon.it domain:

• _ga: assigns a pseudonymous identifier that distinguishes visitors from one visit to the next. It is not anonymous: it does not contain your name, but in principle it can be linked back to you. Duration: up to 2 years.
• _ga_DMNEJWPE94: keeps the analytics session state. Duration: up to 2 years.

The data collected is handled by Google under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and kept in GA4 at event level for the retention period set, at most 14 months, after which only aggregate data remains. If you reject or withdraw consent, these cookies are not created.

The Google Calendar widget

The Google Calendar booking widget is embedded on the Contact page and in the booking section that closes most pages of the site. When the widget loads, Google may set its own cookies related to running and securing the service, which it may also process for its own purposes under its privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

The widget does not load when the page opens: it starts when its section is about to appear on screen and, as a safety net, after a few seconds anyway. Until it loads, Google is not contacted for the booking.

Managing cookies in your browser

At any time you can change or withdraw your consent to analytics cookies from the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page.

You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Blocking Google's technical cookies may prevent call bookings from the site: in that case you can always write to info@novazon.it.

Updates

If the tools we use change, we update this page, with the update date at the top. If we introduce cookies from a new category, we will ask you through the banner before switching them on.
